Cuban bonefish ready for release
We have just secured a great week with our friends in Playa Larga, for a return trip to one of our favorite fisheries. We stay right on the beach of the Bay of Pigs in private Cuban guest homes, and fish both the saltwater flats of Las Salinas as well as the jungle river Hatiguanico. This trip allows clients great insight into Cuban life and culture more so than do the live-aboard boat options we host. Here, we mingle with more Cubans, and watch life in this small fishing village every day.
Guests have the option of spending one night in Havana and experiencing some of this famous city. I will be there, and for those guests wanting will organize some tours and activities. Expenses incurred in Havana are not included in the trip price. For other guests not wanting that time in Havana, they can arrive the next day. We will then all meet at the airport and transfer directly to Playa Larga.
Dates: March 14 arrival (if you want one night in Havana). March 15 if you prefer to travel directly to Playa Larga
