It's been a busy fall at World Fly, getting ready for an exciting 2027 season. Here's what's new.
🐟 Two Spots Just Opened: Golden Dorado, Argentina
Pira & Suinda Lodges · January 5–12, 2027
We split the week between two of Nervous Waters' best lodges. First comes Pira Lodge in the Iberá wetlands, with lots of action on 5–12 lb dorado. Then Suinda Lodge on the Paraná River, where we hunt trophy fish of 15–30 lb. Five-star lodges, great food and wine, and I'll be there hosting the whole way.

600 miles of private Amazon water, 15 IGFA world records since 2015, and only 12 anglers a week, living aboard Untamed Angling's riverboat. It's a true bucket-list trip.
🎣 Tip: Dorado Love Dark Silhouettes
Golden dorado key on dark streamers that show a strong silhouette: black, black and chartreuse, black and purple, tied on 2/0–3/0 hooks with a little flash. Bring wire leader (30–40 lb). Those teeth will cut straight through fluorocarbon.
