Here are some of the great opportunities we have organized:
1: CUBA (of course!)
Playa Larga is one of our favorite destinations. It gives all clients a glimpse into life in Cuba, is laid back and casual, as well as affordable. It also affords both fishing on the saltwater flats, as well as the jungle river Hatiguanico.

Cayo Romano is on Cuba’s north shore. Here, we stay in a resort, directly adjacent to the marina where our skiffs are stored. This massive area has it all….oceanside flats, interior flats, channels, etc. This time of year, it should also have Tarpon where other months of the year there are only Bonefish and Permit

2: COLOMBIA
Black Sands Lodge, Bahia Solano. This remote coastline of Colombia is seldom visited, but offers the same gamefish present in the busy waters of countries to the north. We book our weeks hoping to meeting the annual sardine migration which means more chances at fish on a fly, as well as pelagic fish coming within a few hundred yards of the shore. The lodge is elegant, with superior service and the best food I have seen at any fishing lodge in all my travels.

3: BELIZE
El Pescador Lodge is one of the world’s most renowned fishing operations. Weeks here during the height of the season are very hard to come by. This time of year we will be targeting migratory Tarpon, most of which are between 30-90 pounds. The Permit fishing also heats up as the flats get warmer, and can be excellent. The lodge is known for its comfort for both anglers and non-anglers alike.

4: BRAZIL
Rio Marie: Rio Marie is known for having the biggest population of giant Peacock Bass anywhere on the planet. Fish over 20 pounds are caught nearly every week, with many more landed weighing in the high teens. Untamed Angling is one of the best outfitters in our sport, offering superior service, amenities, as well as locations. This is the trip of a lifetime for many seasoned fly anglers.
